Thomas Melchior Fischer advises Danish and international corporates, private equity funds, family offices, founder-owned businesses and other financial investors on M&A, private equity and company law.

Thomas Melchior Fischer has particular experience in complex Danish and international M&A and private equity transactions, including buy-side and sell-side transactions, structured sales processes, minority investments, reinvestments, exits, joint ventures and transactions with international, fund-related or regulatory elements. Thomas advises clients throughout the transaction process, from initial structuring and due diligence to the preparation and negotiation of transaction documentation, W&I insurance, signing and closing, with a focus on providing clarity, ensuring momentum and translating complex legal matters into clear commercial recommendations. Thomas also advises on company law matters relating to transactions and ownership structures, including governance, capital matters and shareholders’ agreements. Thomas’ particular areas of focus include TMT, life sciences, the defence and security industry, and energy and infrastructure, including investments through private investment funds. Thomas teaches company law at the University of Copenhagen and is an appointed external examiner in company law and M&A.
