Poul Schmith/Kammeradvokaten is a partnership in which a number of the firm's partners are also the owners. The owners appoint the board of directors and a managing partner.
Managing Partner Jens Bødtcher-Hansen and the heads of the firm's staff functions are responsible for the day-to-day management of the firm.
The firm is organised in four legal practice groups, and the staff functions are divided into three main areas: Finances and Service; HR, Communication and Knowledge; and Business Development and IT.
