Mathias Kirk Jordansen

Mathias Kirk Jordansen's practice area is litigation and advice to public bodies and businesses. Mathias has special insight into the area of human rights which he uses to determine Denmark's international obligations under the European Convention on Human Rights (ECHR), and he is also assisting businesses with human rights due diligence (CSDDD).

Mathias has special insight into the area of human rights which he uses to determine Denmark's international obligations under the European Convention on Human Rights (ECHR), and he is also assisting businesses with human rights due diligence (CSDDD).

Mathias has diplomatic experience from when he worked for the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UNESCAP) where he assisted with negotiations with member states, and he was also involved in gradually introducing the UN Secretary General's Management Reform. Mathias is currently the director of the NGO Human Rights in Action, and he is an external lecturer in human rights at University of Copenhagen. Mathias is the permanent representative on Denmark's Council for Human Rights for the period 2021-2025.
