Hanne Padkjær Sørensen

Hanne advises on all aspects of formation of public contracts, with particular expertise in the cross field between procurement law, construction law, infrastructure, defence, real estate and project development. She has extensive experience in EU and Danish procurement rules and advises on all aspects, including the tender process, tendering strategy, negotiations, formation of contract, contract modifications, disputes and complaints. Hanne has advised government agencies, municipal and regional authorities, cooperative housing societies and utility companies on execution of tenders and formation of complex contracts by way of tailored leased premises/construction, public-private partnerships (PPP) and concessions, etc. She has provided assistance in a number of the municipal and regional PPP/PPC projects carried out in Denmark with both private and public funding. As a consequence, she has gained extensive experience in public law rules applying to public construction projects. Hanne has a right of audience before the Danish High Court and has represented clients in a number of procurement law disputes before the Danish Complaints Board for Public Procurement (Klagenævnet for Udbud) and the courts.
