Hanne Padkjær Sørensen

Having more than 10 years of experience, Hanne specialises in public formation of contract in the cross field between procurement law, contracts, infrastructure, real estate, project development and the sale of real estate by the government. Hanne represents public bodies (government agencies, local and regional authorities, cooperative housing societies and utility companies) in connection with the drafting of tender documents; both by way of complex contracts and general quality assurance of tender documents, advisory services to juries, assessment of compliance (both in respect of the application for prequalification and submission of tenders), the planning of and participation in market dialogues, the handling and practical execution of tenders with flexible tendering procedures (competitive dialogue and negotiated procedure), the preparation of evaluation reports, contract negotiations, drafting legal opinions and general advice in connection with handling procurement law and construction law disputes. Hanne's experience in large construction projects includes a number of the municipal and regional public-private partnerships and cooperation (PPP/PPC) that have been carried out in Denmark, including office buildings, schools, multi-storey car parks, psychiatric hospitals, etc with both private and public financing through KommuneLeasing. Hanne has also been attached as a legal advisor to a regional quality fund project. Moreover, Hanne is very experienced in dealing with procurement law disputes, and she has represented clients in a number of cases before the Danish Complaints Board for Public Procurement (Klagenævnet for Udbud). Hanne's approach to procurement is practical and solution-oriented, and it is very important to her to understand the client's reality and needs and use that as a basis for the subsequent advice.
