Robert is mainly engaged with litigation of cases on behalf of the Danish Ministry of Taxation. The cases concern various issues relating to taxes and duties. Robert has particular experience in litigating cases about EU tax law and duties and has through this work gained experience in conducting cases before the Court of Justice of the European Union. In addition, Robert provides advice to the Danish Customs and Tax Administration and the Danish Ministry of Taxation on issues relating to tax and duty law, including whether administrative decisions should be brought before the courts because they concern points of principle. Robert also has experience in advising public authorities in the area of administrative law in a wider context and in litigating cases about liability issues and public insurance schemes. Moreover, Robert has for many years taught constitutional law at the University of Copenhagen. In addition, Robert has since 2020 been commentator on the EU Karnov chapter on the European Single Market and customs issues.
