Nicolaus Falk-Scheibel advises public and private clients on construction law matters, including planning and contracting, contract management during the construction phase and dispute resolution. Furthermore, Nicolaus has extensive experience in digital construction processes and its regulation in construction contracts and construction processes. Nicolaus also has broad experience in handling disputes, including expert surveys and appraisals, as well as litigation and arbitration in the area of construction law before the Danish courts and the Danish Building and Construction Arbitration Board. Also, Nicolaus has experience in offshore construction and offshore construction projects and the industry's specific standard contracts such as FIDIC. Nicolaus has a legal PhD from the University of Copenhagen where he studied the subject construction digitisation and the use of Building Information Modelling (BIM). The PhD degree was awarded on the basis of the thesis "Digital Construction Law - Building Information Modelling; interpretation, standards of conduct, services and responsibilities". Nicolaus is also associated with the University of Copenhagen where he has been teaching students in the subject "Tort and contracts" since 2015.
